Ware Insurance & Financial Services opened for business in Fort Smith in 1990 by Byron Ware, who was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas. During the last 30 years, Ware Insurance has grown due to its commitment to customer service and involvement in the community. Sheila Smith, also a lifelong resident of Fort Smith, joined Byron over 25 years ago.
In January 2019, Byron decided to retire and recognized the importance of finding a team that would continue to carry on a business that focused on customer service as its top priority. Harris Insurance & Financial Services was chosen by Byron to continue his legacy that started with Ware Insurance & Financial Services.
Harris Insurance & Financial Services is honored to continue what Byron started in 1990. Sheila will continue to serve on the Harris Insurance team along with Lauren Harris.
